Dr. Sands is a practicing physician and clinical informatics expert with over 30 years in health IT. He co-founded the Society for Participatory Medicine, has held leadership roles at Cisco and Zix, and helped pioneer clinical decision support, EHRs, and patient portals. He serves on faculty at Harvard Medical School.

Denise Silber
Denise Silber is a digital health communicator, entrepreneur, and board advisor. She founded Basil Strategies and Doctors 2.0 & You, created VRforHealth.com, writes the Praticien Connecté series, and was named a Digital EU ambassador. A Harvard MBA, Denise hosts the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs podcast. Lastly, Denise received the French Legion of Honor for her contributions to digital health.

Dave deBronkart, “e-Patient Dave,” is a cancer survivor and advocate for patient empowerment. Co-founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine, he gained attention with “Gimme my DaM data,” has spoken globally on patient rights, served as Mayo Clinic Visiting Professor, and explores AI in patient care.
Gilles Frydman has pioneered online health communities since founding ACOR in 1995, serving 600,000+ cancer patients and caregivers. He is co-founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine and Smart Patients, and currently serves as Chief Transformation Officer of the Wellness, Sleep and Circadian Network (WSCN). Named a CNN Health Hero, he blogs at e-patients.net, speaks internationally, and has been featured in publications from BMJ to The Wall Street Journal.
